Mr Tiya Nyirenda is the Head of Information Technology at First Capital Bank Malawi, bringing over 25 years of experience in ICT Industry and Banking sector. He has extensive expertise in driving business strategy with a focus on technological change, Core Banking systems, Cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure with a strong track record in project management and IT governance. He has managed and accomplished major IT projects within First Capital Bank Group in Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Mauritius.

He holds a Master of Science Degree in Cybersecurity from EC-Council University in U.S.A., a degree in Business Administration and is also a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CEH, and Microsoft Certified Professional.
