Remmie is the Head of Legal and Company Secretary at First Capital Bank Plc. He is a top-performing and commercially astute lawyer with 13 years of experience in corporate governance, complex commercial transactions, and high-value litigation and arbitration. Remmie is known for building strong client and stakeholder relationships and leading with strategic, solution-oriented insight.

Prior to First Capital Bank, he also worked as Legal Manager at National Bank of Malawi plc. He holds a Master of Laws (Commercial Law) (LLM) from the University of Malawi, a Bachelor of Laws, Honours (LLB (Hons)) from the University of Malawi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Arbitration from Africa Arbitration Academy. He is currently pursuing a Chartered Corporate Governance Certification with the Chartered Governance Institute, UK. He is a member of the Malawi Law Society.
